Few Porsches were cooler than the 917. A flat 12 cylinder engine, air-cooled, 600(!) hp, and 0-60 mph in 2.3 sec. In 1970. And fewer legends could carry an air of coolness like Steve McQueen. These two forces met in the 1971 film Le Mans where McQueen played Porsche driver Michael Delaney. If you’ve never seen it, we won’t spoil the ending. But definitely watch it soon.

 And while other cars have worn the Gulf livery since, none can capture the McQueen magic as the 917. Our design here pays tribute to both in iconic blue and orange just as the original.
